These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Owned mobile application ("Owned," "the App"), operated by The Pin Universe LLC ("we," "our," "us"). They supplement our general Terms & Conditions. By downloading or using Owned, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Owned lets you upload or capture a photo of yourself and generates AI-rendered images showing you in different makeup looks, based on your preferences, skin profile, and (optionally) makeup products you already own.

2. Your Photos and AI-Generated Content

When you submit a selfie or photo, it is sent to our AI processing provider solely to generate your requested look. We do not use your photos to train AI models, and we do not share your photos with third parties for marketing purposes. See our [Privacy Policy] for full detail on retention and processing.

AI-generated looks are visualizations for inspiration and styling purposes only. Results may vary based on lighting, photo quality, and real-world products — Owned does not guarantee that any rendered look will match real-life application.

3. Subscriptions

Owned offers auto-renewing subscription plans ("Subscriptions") that unlock additional looks, breakdowns, and features.

• Billing. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew at the price and interval shown at the time of purchase, unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

• Cancellation. You can manage or cancel your Subscription anytime via your Apple ID account settings. No refund will be issued for the unused portion of a current period upon cancellation.

• Free Trials and Promotional Offers. If a free trial or promotional rate is offered (including referral rewards), it will convert to a paid Subscription at the standard rate unless canceled before the trial or promotional period ends.

• Price Changes. We may change Subscription prices; any change will apply only to renewals after you're notified, in accordance with Apple's guidelines.

4. Account, Referrals, and Anonymous Use

You can use core features of Owned without creating an account. Some features — including saving your profile across devices, redeeming referral rewards, and managing Subscriptions — require signing in with Apple.

Referral rewards (such as free trial periods) are subject to fair-use limits and may be revoked if obtained through fraudulent or duplicate accounts.

You may delete your account and associated data at any time from within the App's settings.

5. Shop the Look

Owned may show product suggestions and links to third-party retailers (such as Sephora) to help you complete a look. These links may be affiliate links, meaning we may earn a commission on qualifying purchases at no extra cost to you. We are not responsible for the products, pricing, or policies of third-party retailers.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to upload photos of anyone other than yourself without their consent, use Owned for any unlawful purpose, or attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the App's operation.

7. Intellectual Property

The App, its design, and underlying technology are owned by or licensed to The Pin Universe LLC. AI-generated images created for you through the App are yours to use, save, and share personally.

8. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

Owned is provided "as is." We do not provide medical, dermatological, or professional beauty advice — recommendations are for informational and styling purposes only. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited as described in our general [Terms & Conditions].

9. Apple as Third-Party Beneficiary

These Terms are between you and The Pin Universe LLC, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide support for Owned. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and Apple's Usage Rules, Apple's rules govern Apple's relationship with you. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

10. Governing Law & Changes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, as set out in our general Terms & Conditions, which also govern any matters not addressed here.
